Bahá'is of Tache

The Bahá'is of Tache are a part of the worldwide community of over six million adherents from virtually every nationality, race, ethnic and religious background. The local administrative body of the Bahá'i community is established in every city, town, or village where nine or more adult believers are resident.

Like other Baha'i Local Spiritual Assemblies, the Local Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'is of Tache promotes the spiritual enlightenment of youth, the means for the education of children, undertakes the arrangement of regular worship services (called Nineteen Day Feasts) and Holy Days, encourages special gatherings designed to serve and promote the social, intellectual and spiritual interests of their fellow-beings, and conducts marriages and funerals.

Currently there is no Bahá'i Centre in Tache so the Bahá'i community joyfully meets at the homes of local believers and warmly welcomes everyone to join in the weekly Devotional gatherings and any of the Holy Day celebrations. Bahá'is suspend work on Holy Days and strive to undertake projects and services, which leave "tangible, philanthropic or ideal traces that should reach all mankind."
