Proclaiming "New Life in Jesus" to the town of Lorette & surrounding area

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." 2 Timothy 3:16
The Bible is the only God-given authority which man possesses; therefore, all doctrine, faith hope, and all instruction for the church must be based upon, and harmonize with, the Bible. It is to be read and studied by all men everywhere, and can clearly be understood by those who are anointed by the Holy Spirit. "The anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him." 1 John 2:27 "No prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" 2 Peter 1:20,21
We believe in the one ever-living, eternal God: infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purpose; and possessing absolute, indivisible deity. "The first of all commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord" Mark 12:29; Deuteronomy 6:4 "One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all" Ephesians 4:6 "God is a Spirit" John 4:24
The scripture does more than attempt to prove the existence of God; it asserts, assumes, and declares that the knowledge of God is universal "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handy work." Psalms 19:1; Romans 1:19-25
This one true God manifested Himself in divers ways
before the incarnation. In the incarnation, the Jehovah
of the Old Testament, took upon Himself the form of man, and as
the Son of man, was born of the virgin Mary. "And without
controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest
in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached
unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into
glory"
1 Timothy 3:16
"He was in the world, and the world was made by him,
and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his
own received him not" John 1:10 -11 "God was in Christ,
reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses
unto them" 2 Cor. 5:19
"In him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily" Colossians 2:9 "For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell" Col. 1:19 Therefore, Jesus in his humanity was man; in His deity He was and is God. His flesh was the lamb, or the sacrifice of God. He is the only mediator between God and man. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5
Jesus, on His Father's side was divine, on His mother's
side, human; thus He was known as the Son of God and also the
Son of man, or the God-man. "Then said they unto him, Where
is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father:
If ye had known me ye would have known my Father also."
John 8:19 "I and my Father are one." John 10:30
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me,
ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know
him, and have seen him." John 14:7
"Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it
sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with
you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that
hath seen me hath seen the Father.." John 14:8-9
His name reveals who Jesus is. "Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:…and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6 This prophecy was fulfilled when he was named. "And she shall bring forth a son and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins." Matthew 1:21 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" Acts 4:12
"Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned" Romans 5:12, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23
Jesus has provided "Full Salvation"
for us! New Life can be ours today!
We don't have to take a chance with part of His plan
He wants us to have abundant life.
He (1) died, was (2) buried,
and(3) rose again. When the people heard Peter preach this
in Acts chapter two, "they were pricked in their heart, and
said,…what shall we do?
Then Peter said unto them, (1) repent and (2) be baptized
every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission
of sins, and ye shall (3) receive the gift of the Holy Ghost"
Acts 2:37-38 These simple instructions that Peter gave show us
how to apply what Jesus did for us.
(1)"Repentance" means a change of views and purpose, change of heart, change of mind, change of life, transformation etc. When we truly repent we are sorry for our sins and we ask his forgiveness, we turn from our old way and forsake sins. Read Luke 13:3; 24:47
Jesus was buried and we are baptized in his name.
(2) "Baptized" means "buried with him
by baptism into death…" Romans 6:4 We are immersed in
water in the name of Jesus. "As many of you as have been
baptized into Christ have put on Christ." Galations 3:27
According to the Acts of the Apostles 2:38; Acts 8:16; 10:48;
19:5 thus obeying … fulfilling Matthew 28:19 for Jesus
"came in his Father's name" John 5:43 was "conceived
of the Holy Ghost" Matthew 1:20 and Jesus is the Son
of God "When the fullness of time was come, God sent forth
his Son, made of a woman" Galations 4:4 "And she shall
bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus" Matthew
1:21
Jesus came forth from the grave by the power of the Spirit and we receive that same resurrecting power when we:
(3) "receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" There is a witness of power when we receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. "If the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." Romans 8:11 Jesus said, "ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you" Acts 1:8 "there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing, mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting." Acts 2:2 "they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." Acts 2:4 Jesus said, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." Mark 16:16-18
There is deliverance, salvation, and healing in the name of Jesus!
This experience of new life in Jesus is for all!
"For the promise is unto you and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." Acts 2:39
